VIVAOHLALA · PRIVATE TOURS IN ENGLISH

Riviera Maya tours, made personal

Maya ruins, freshwater cenotes and Caribbean island days—with your own group and an English-speaking guide. Plan your Mexico vacation with VivaOhlala, a local excursion agency based in Playa del Carmen.

Excursion boat on the turquoise waters of Cozumel

A day beyond the resort, with people who know the region

Follow the story of Chichen Itza, snorkel in Akumal, explore Holbox by boat or watch for wildlife in Sian Ka’an. We help you choose day trips around your interests, your hotel and the people traveling with you.

Our English-language excursions focus on private tours. You travel with your partner, family or friends and a dedicated guide, while visiting real archaeological sites, communities and natural areas. Those places are shared with other visitors; a private tour does not mean exclusive access to a destination.

Private quote for your group

Ancient cities & living Maya culture

Choose Chichen Itza, a cenote and Valladolid for a day centered on history. Prefer forest paths, a local meal and active discoveries? Explore Coba and Punta Laguna.

Island water & open horizons

Head to Holbox for shallow island waters and sandy streets, Isla Mujeres for snorkeling and Playa Norte, or Bacalar for the changing blues of a freshwater lagoon.

Wildlife experiences that follow nature

Look for birds, dolphins or turtles on the Sian Ka’an Deluxe itinerary, combine archaeology and coastal wildlife at Ek Balam and Rio Lagartos, or plan a private whale shark trip during our June 15–September 15 season. Wild animals are never guaranteed, and water activities depend on conditions.
