What you’ll experience
Walk the ruins above the Caribbean
Begin your visit to Tulum with its sea-facing temples, stone walls and coastal viewpoints. Your guide brings context to the site while you have time to look closely and take photographs. Expect outdoor walking on exposed paths.
Cool off in a cenote
Continue to a natural cenote for a change of scenery and an optional swim. Let us know your group’s swimming experience before booking so we can discuss participation and the day’s pace.
Enjoy a local lunch
Pause for a meal with drinks at a local restaurant. Dietary preferences should be shared in advance; the team will check what can be accommodated. The lunch stop may fall before or after the other activities.
Snorkel in Akumal Bay
Join a specialized guide in the regulated snorkeling area. Watch for wild sea turtles, fish and other marine life without touching or chasing them. Sightings and access depend on natural conditions and local instructions. Return to your hotel after the activities.

Pickup, transportation & timing
Send the full name or address of your accommodation in Playa del Carmen, Cancun, Tulum, Akumal, Puerto Morelos or elsewhere on the Riviera Maya. We’ll check coverage and confirm your pickup time. Any supplement is charged per group for the round trip, not per person.
If you have a car, ask about a meeting point within the included pickup area. Total duration varies with your hotel, traffic and the itinerary; keep your return schedule flexible.

What to bring
Comfortable closed-toe shoes for Tulum, swimsuit, towel, sandals, hat, sunglasses and a UV shirt for snorkeling. Bring a reusable water bottle; plastic bottles are not allowed at the archaeological site. No sunscreen in the cenote.

Questions before you book
Are turtle sightings guaranteed?
No. The turtles live freely in Akumal Bay. Your guide follows regulated routes and local instructions, but wildlife and sea conditions cannot be guaranteed.
Is snorkeling equipment included?
Yes, a mask and snorkel are included. Tell us about any fit or participation concerns before booking.
Can I skip swimming?
Let us know before booking. We can explain the arrangements for the chosen locations and help you decide whether this itinerary suits the whole group.
How do I reserve?
Contact us with your date, hotel and group details. We confirm availability and the deposit required before you pay. The remaining balance is payable in cash in MXN to the guide, as stated in your booking confirmation.
