Travel to Chiquila
Your driver picks up your group at the agreed location for the overland journey to Chiquila. This is a full-day outing from the Riviera Maya, with a substantial transfer before and after the island experience.
Explore by private boat
Board your group’s boat to discover the waters around Holbox. The planned route includes a freshwater swimming stop and Isla Pasion, where you can enjoy the natural setting and look for birds. Water levels, weather and local access rules shape the route.
Sit down to an island lunch
Take a break at a local beachfront venue for a Mexican meal and drinks. Tell us in advance if you need vegetarian or vegan options so the team can check arrangements.
See Holbox at your own pace
Spend free time among the island’s sandy streets, murals and small shops. The program also includes coastal time around Playa Mosquito when conditions and access allow. After the boat ride back to Chiquila, your vehicle takes you to your accommodation.

Pickup, transportation & timing
Send the full name or address of your accommodation in Playa del Carmen, Cancun, Tulum, Akumal, Puerto Morelos or elsewhere on the Riviera Maya. We’ll check coverage and confirm your pickup time. Any supplement is charged per group for the round trip, not per person.
If you have a car, ask about a meeting point within the included pickup area. Total duration varies with your hotel, traffic and the itinerary; keep your return schedule flexible.

What to bring
Swimsuit, towel, sandals, hat, sunglasses, a UV shirt, dry clothes and a small bag. Follow the guide’s sunscreen instructions; do not apply sunscreen before entering the freshwater swimming area.

Our optional excursion photography package covers the key moments of your tour and includes 50 edited high-resolution photos, a preview of 3–5 images within 24 hours and a private online gallery within 5 business days. Availability is confirmed for your date.

Are Punta Coco and Playa Mosquito always accessible?
No. Wildlife protection measures, weather and local decisions can change access. Your guide adapts the route to the locations open on the day; no specific beach access is guaranteed.
Is this an overnight trip?
No. This is a day trip, with transportation back to your accommodation after returning to Chiquila.
Is the boat private?
Yes, the planned boat service is for your group. The island, beaches, swimming sites and restaurants are public or shared visitor locations.
How do I reserve?
Contact us with your date, hotel and group details. We confirm availability and the deposit required before you pay. The remaining balance is payable in cash in MXN to the guide, as stated in your booking confirmation.
