What you’ll experience
Meet your transport for the reserve
Your day begins at your confirmed pickup point. The team checks the route and boat arrangements for your party in advance. Total transfer time depends on your accommodation; the short road section within the reserve is not the entire hotel transfer.
Discover the waterways
Board for the boat portion of the day, passing mangroves and lagoon scenery. Keep watch for birds, turtles and dolphins while your guide explains the habitat. Animals move freely, and no sighting can be guaranteed.
Enjoy the water when conditions allow
The itinerary includes a natural-pool stop, with snorkeling subject to weather, sea conditions and local instructions. The guide and boat crew make the final decisions about water activities on the day.
Visit Punta Allen
Break for a meal and drinks at a local restaurant in this small fishing village, then complete the return journey. Alcohol and lobster are additional purchases. Boat configuration and the private arrangements for your group are confirmed in your quote.

Pickup, transportation & timing
Send the full name or address of your accommodation in Playa del Carmen, Cancun, Tulum, Akumal, Puerto Morelos or elsewhere on the Riviera Maya. We’ll check coverage and confirm your pickup time. Any supplement is charged per group for the round trip, not per person.
If you have a car, ask about a meeting point within the included pickup area. Total duration varies with your hotel, traffic and the itinerary; keep your return schedule flexible.
Who is this tour for?
For nature lovers comfortable with boat travel and a full day outdoors. This excursion does not accept children under 3 or pregnant travelers. Discuss mobility and other participation needs before booking.
What to bring
Swimsuit, towel, UV shirt, hat, sunglasses, sandals, dry clothes and a small waterproof bag. Follow the guide’s sunscreen instructions before boarding and entering the water.

Will we see dolphins and turtles?
They may be seen in the reserve, but sightings cannot be guaranteed. Weather, sea conditions and animal movements affect every departure.
Can children join?
Children under 3 cannot participate. Share all children’s ages and discuss boat suitability with the team before booking.
How many people fit on a boat?
The French program lists up to 6 people per boat and up to 12 travelers across two boats. Ask us to confirm the exact private arrangement and total for your party.
How do I reserve?
Contact us with your date, hotel and group details. We confirm availability and the deposit required before you pay. The remaining balance is payable in cash in MXN to the guide, as stated in your booking confirmation.
